The iPhone 3G S is an internet-connected multimedia smartphone created by Apple Inc. The iPhone 3G S is entirely touchscreen and offers HSDPA speeds of around 7.2 Mbps.

Apple announced that the iPhone 3G S would be available on the 19th June 2009 in the United States at its' 2009 Worldwide Developer's Conference, held in San Francisco.

iPhone 3G S features video recording, Voice Control, 16GB or 32GB of storage.

The iPhone 3G S features a 3 megapixel autofocus camera that takes pictures and video. The camera automatically adjusts focus, exposure, colour and contrast and includes an automatic macro focus. The camera software also includes a "tap to focus" feature, where users can touch the display to select an object or area of interest, and the camera will automatically re-adjust the focus and exposure of the image. VGA video clips can also be recorded and edited from the iPhone 3G S by utilising the new trimming tool to trim the start and stop points. The phone also allows users to send pictures and video by email or MMS and post them to MobileMe or YouTube.

The iPhone 3G S has a feature which allows users to interact with the device through speech. For example, Voice Control can be used to dial the phone number of a specific contact, or to find out the name of a song which is currently playing on the device's built in iPod.
